These winters give your children something healthy and tasty not bought from the outside but by your safe hands. Winter season is very special for some dishes but it is the only season when you can enjoy a hot soup. Your children will definitely like a hot spicy tomato soup , made by yourself.
We all put lots of efforts to teach our children a healthy lifestyle. An important aspect in this is avoiding junk food. Children are usually attracted by the taste they get in junk food. If they can get a good taste of homemade food, then this will eventually help them in avoiding junk food.
Also, when it comes to preparing a dish without onion and garlic, it becomes really difficult. Because the majority of taste comes in a dish is because of onion and garlic. In some religions like Hindu, it is prohibited to add onion and garlic in any of the religious occasions. Then it becomes really difficult.
But a dish can be very delicious if the onions and garlic are replaced with some amazing spices.
Here, today I'm giving you a recipe for a spicy tomato soup. Hope your family will enjoy it.
For making the soup for 2 persons , you will be needed:
- 2 tomatoes, if they are not much sour then add 3
- salt to taste
- red chilly powder
- coriander leaves, for garnishing
- refined oil
- MDH garam masala
- crushed dried fenugreek seeds
- cumin seeds
- coriander powder
- crushed pomegranate seeds
- ginger paste
Make a paste of your tomatoes in a mixer. Then add half tablespoon oil in a pan. When the oil gets heated add half teaspoon cumin seeds, half teaspoon fenugreek seeds, and pomegranate seeds. Then add ginger paste and fry it till becomes a little reddish in color.
Now add your tomatoes and stir it properly , so that it does not give the odor of raw tomatoes. Now, add half teaspoon garam masala, one-fourth teaspoon sugar, chili powder as you like, one teaspoon coriander powder.
Now keep stirring it until and unless you see some oil at the bottom. When the oil is visible at the bottom add one and a half glass of water.
Now, to increase the volume of the soup add half tablespoon of wheat flour or corn flour. Now add salt to taste and keep stirring it for around 5 minutes.
It's ready. Add coriander leaves for a better garnishing and now serve it hot.
Your hot spicy tomato soup is ready. You can also add dried bread to enjoy.
